If you are looking for a buy to let property, here are some helpful tips our Letting’s teams have for you.
- Buy in a desirable location. Capital growth will always be better.
- Where are the nearest transport links? Ideally no more than a fifteen minute walk to tube/British Rail Station.
- Look for as many double rooms as possible – single rooms will limit your market.
- Keep it neutral, you may enjoy the orange patterned wall paper in the living room but your tenants will not.
- What are your costs and what is your rental yield.
- Are you going to be an overseas landlord? We advise the completion and necessity of the NRL forms.
- Employ us as your managing agent. We will advise you, support you and make progress with your investment.
- The better the quality of your property the better the tenant!
