Lettings forecast for 2017 and review of last year!

Across the UK most commentators predict 2017 will see an increase in demand for rental properties, well maintained properties in London could see growth of up to 3%. The new year is off to a flying start and we have noted a substantial upsurge in tenant registrations since the end of December and beginning of January.  To meet the demand we need more property, we are offering Landlords very competitive rates to Let their property in January.
Overall 2016 has been a record breaking year with more properties being let than ever before.
Despite the changes in Lettings to Landlords with amendment to taxation and stamp duty, the Lettings Market remains a highly favourable investment for many people.
With interest rates being historically low, the return on investment compared to banks is excellent.  In addition, a recent Rightmove commissioned report states that property prices in London will increase by 32.5% over the next five years!
